Brian S. Lyda, Sr. is an attorney focused on estate planning, elder law, and succession planning for family-owned businesses.
He advises clients on Medicaid planning, asset protection trusts, supplemental needs trusts, and probate/administration proceedings.
His litigation practice covers contested estates, guardianships, and civil/commercial disputes across New York State.
He also has extensive experience in real estate law, including contracts, development, landlord/tenant disputes, and tax certiorari.
Admitted in NY, MA, FL (inactive), and multiple federal courts, Mr. Lyda has practiced law for over 20 years -

Kent Gross is a seasoned attorney with over 40 years of experience handling litigation from pleadings through trial.
He represents clients in trust and estate disputes, shareholder and corporate conflicts, and real estate ownership claims.
His practice also includes protecting online reputations and resolving matters involving charitable institutions.
Mr. Gross has served as trustee for high-net-worth irrevocable trusts and advises on complex fiduciary issues.
In addition, he brings unique experience from the entertainment industry, representing NFL teams, producers, and theatre clients. -

Born in France, Shanice earned her Master I in Business and Corporate Law at the University of Lyon III before completing her LL.M. at Brooklyn Law School and joining the New York Bar in 2019.
She began her career in Estate Planning, Trusts and Estates, and Guardianship, later expanding into family, landlord-tenant, commercial, civil, and personal injury litigation.
Shanice ultimately returned to her passion for Trusts and Estates, leading a department of over 300 active matters at a New York law firm.
Her experience spans probate, administration, estate litigation, guardianships, accountings, and representation of fiduciaries and beneficiaries.
As co-founder of LGK Lawyers, Shanice is dedicated to delivering legal excellence with compassion, helping individuals and families protect their legacies. -
Associate Attorney
Jennifer is an associate attorney at LGK Lawyers, focusing on trust and estate litigation while also handling matters in real estate, civil litigation, and corporate law.
She earned her B.S. in Accounting from Siena College and her J.D. from Albany Law School, where she concentrated on estate planning.
Before joining LGK Lawyers, Jennifer worked closely with Attorney Shanice Kirakossian, managing hundreds of trust and estate litigation cases as a senior paralegal and junior attorney.
Her experience spans estate administration, estate planning, business formation and litigation, and real estate transactions.
Jennifer brings an approachable, client-focused approach, tailoring legal strategies to help individuals, families, and businesses achieve their goals.
